Western Pennsylvania Model Rail Road Museum
The WPMRM is a nonprofit organization located in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. Our purpose is to promote and preserve the history of railroads in western Pennsylvania through the hobby of model railroading. Our mission is: to continue the development of a museum which captures in miniature a portion of western Pennsylvania history; to expand the library which houses a collection of reference materials on railroad industry and resources on model railroading; to serve as an educational resource for the people of western Pennsylvania. This in part, is accomplished by the Museum's main attraction, a 40' X 100' scale representation of the tracks between Pittsburgh, Pa. and Cumberland, Md. set in the summer of 1952.
