Riverhead Railroad Festival

The Railroad Museum of Long Island is proud to announce our ninth annual Riverhead Railroad Festival. The event will be held on museum grounds across from the Long Island Rail Road's Riverhead Railroad Station.

At this year's event, see exhibits and working machines from the Long Island Antique Power Association. Ride our restored 1964-65 LIRR Pavillion NY World's Fair Train. Under the big top tents, try your hand at the Railcar Switching Puzzle, engage in the Locomotive Races, visit preservation groups and historical societies and the Shriner's Child ID program. You can also view and purchase items from railroad-related vendors and from the museum's Gift Shop. Operating layouts will be on site for viewing in G, O, HO and N Scale. Many of the museum's historic railcar collection will be open for public viewing, and refreshments will be available on site.

Admission is $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for children over 5. Children under 5 are FREE.god
