18th Annual Wiregrass Model Railroad Show and Sale

The 18th Annual Wiregrass Model Railroad Show and Sale will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 and Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008. at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds in Dothan, Alabama. The Fairgrounds are at 5622 U.S. Hwy. 231 South, three miles south of Dothan.
Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CDT on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT on Sunday. Admission is $5.00 for adults and free for children under age 12 with an adult.
The show will feature more than 150 tables of model railroad equipment and supplies in N,HO,O and G scales offered by vendors from throughout the Southeast.
At least six large layouts will be in operation and door prizes will be awarded and concessions are available both days.
The show is a nonprofit event sponsored by the Wiregrass Heritage Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society in Dothan, AL.
